Barbara is the owner of Blue Stem Gardens, a local landscape design and installation firm, but cooking is her passion. For over 15 years Barb has catered the now famous Wednesday Lunch at Central Presbyterian Church in downtown St. Paul. Every Wednesday, a diverse crowd of more than 100 gathers to enjoy Barbara’s fresh salads, exquisite soups, and most of all her home-baked breads, developed from her own starters. Not so long ago, Barbara entered the dining room at Central to a standing ovation from her more than satisfied guests. She has much experience creating memorable meals and recipes for large and small groups.
